This interview looks at Hip-Hop and whether or not it reinforces negative racial stereotypes. Wyclif argues that Hip Hop, like all art, is a reflection of its environment. Therefore if an environment is suffering from drugs, misogyny, police brutality, poverty, gangs, and social deprivation; then its music will reflect those things.
