TeachTech looks at an interview with J. Cole in which he discusses his lessons regarding material attainment and how no amount of money, success, power, drugs or sex will ever satiate human desire. Instead he argues that it is spiritual and emotional fulfillment which humanity should seek instead of the usual consumerism and materialism which we base our identities on. If we can achieve this we will be better equipped to find true happiness that does not require exponential growth for its continuance.
